Eleanor Beatrice Buckland of Rye, Sussex (1886-1948)
Eleanor was born in Rye, Sussex, England in 1886. The Buckland's were landowners, specifically farmers and brewers, owning land from Rye to Tenterden. Married Percy Horatio Manfred Whyte of Cape Town, South Africa in 1908. The family moved back to England in the 1910s around the time of the first World War.
