Dr. Preston Pope Satterwhite (1867-1948)

Born at Louisville, Kentucky. Over the years, he made numerous donations to the Speed Art Museum and in 1954 the museum opened the "Satterwhite Wing". He and his wife are buried under a memorial designed by Horace Trumbauer.
