Daniel Quincy (1651-1690)

Silversmith, of Boston, Massachusetts

He was born at Braintree, Massachusetts, in the part afterwards renamed "Quincy" for his son. His father built the Dorothy Q. House in 1686. He was the father of two children: Anna, Mrs Holman; and, one son, John, through whom he is the great-great grandfather of U.S. President John Quincy Adams
