Daniel Crommelin Verplanck (1762-1834)

Daniel C. Verplanck, of Fishkill; Judge & U.S. Representative from New York

He was a Member of Congress from 1802 to 1809 and was Judge of the Court of Common Pleas in Dutchess County until 1828. He also kept a townhouse on Wall Street and had one son by his first marriage (to Elizabeth, daughter of William Samuel Johnson, 1st President of Columbia College) and seven children by his second wife (Ann, only daughter of William and Ann (DeLancey) Walton.
