Col. Jonathan Mifflin (1753-1840)
of the Philadelphia Light Horse; Deputy Quartermaster-General, Continental Army
He was a merchant-shipper of Fountain Green, near Philadelphia, and served in 1776 as Brigade-Major to his second cousin, General Thomas Mifflin.
