Mrs. Catherine (Lewis) Dade
She spent most of her childhood at Mount Vernon as the ward of her uncle Col. Lawrence Lewis, husband of Eleanor Parke Custis. In 1809, she married Col. Henry Chew Dade and in 1835 moved with him to Noxubee, Mississippi. They had six children.
