Anne (Mair) Rose (1761-1817)
Mrs Anne (Mair) Forsyth, Rose
She was the sister of Colonel Alexander Mair, Deputy-Governor of Fort George in the Scottish Highlands. She married her first husband, William Forsyth, at Huntly in 1782 and they were the parents of one daughter. After he died, in 1795 she married the Rev. John Rose and they were the parents of a son and a daughter.
