Lady Anne (Knollys) de la Warr

She was a lady at the court of Queen Elizabeth I; sister of Letitia, Chief Lady of the Bedchamber and mother of the Queen's favorite, the Earl of Essex. The State of Delaware is named for Anne's eldest son, Lord de la Warr, Governor of Virginia.
