Alexander David Angus (1820-1892)

Alexander D. Angus, of Fergus Falls, Minnesota; former Merchant of Bathgate

He was a merchant and spirit-dealer at his native Bathgate in West Lothian but came out to Minnesota on the recommendation of his brother, R.B. Angus, who at that time was working closely with James J. Hill as Vice-President of the St. Paul & Pacific Railroad. Thereafter, he farmed 400-acres at Fergus Falls.
