William Tudor (1750-1819)

Judge, State Senator & Secretary of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

He was a Boston lawyer who served as Judge Advocate of the Continental Army under George Washington prior to his service in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, the State Senate, and as Secretary of State for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He lived between Boston and his summer estate "Rockwood" at Lynn, Massachusetts (see images). He had six children (listed) and was a great-grandfather of the Irishman who championed Home Rule, Charles Stewart Parnell
