William Hynson Brown (1853-1932)

William H. Brown, of Baltimore, Maryland

He was born at "The Hermitage" in Kent County, Maryland (inherited by his brother, Thomas). He spent his entire business career in steamships operating from Baltimore to to towns along the Eastern shore. He retained his role after his company was absorbed by the Pennsylvania Railroad. He was survived by his widow, Imogen B. Brown, three nieces (Mrs W. Murray Carr, of Pittsburgh; Mary C. Brown; and, Mrs Duncan Brent) and two nephews (Dr Thomas Richardson Brown & James C. Brown).
