William Henry King (1818-1897)

Merchant in the China Trade, of "Kingscote" Newport, R.I.; died unmarried and insane

He made a fortune in the China Trade but may have fallen victim to his own success by becoming an opium addict. His behaviour became increasingly erratic and he died in an insane asylum, unmarried.
