William Gamble (1805-1881)
J.P., Merchant & Mill Owner, of "Milton" Etobicoke, Upper Canada
He was married at Maidstone (Kent) in England to a niece of Field Marshal Sir William Sherman Rowan, Commander-in-Chief of North America. They were the parents of just one daughter, Martha - named for Lady Martha (Spong) Rowan - who married John Boulton who grew up at The Grange in Toronto.
