William Eldred Jackson (1919-1999)

William E. Jackson Jr., Lawyer, of New York City

He served in the U.S. Navy and followed in his father's footsteps becoming a lawyer and working as his executive assistant at the Nuremberg War Crimes Trial (1945-46). He spent his entire legal career with Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, of New York. His clients included Nelson A. Rockefeller, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, the King of Morocco and Baron Hans Heinrich Thyssen-Bornemisza.
