W.A. Morschhauser (1872-1940)
William Anthony Morschhauser, of New York & Fairfield, Connecticut
He was born in New York and became an executive with the Calculating Business Machines Corporation of New York. In 1897 at her family mansion and in front of 300-guests, he married Madeline, one of the daughters and co-heiresses of the brewer Peter Doelger. He was a member of the Longshore Country Club of Westport and the New York Athletic Club. They lived between 1 Madison Avenue in New York and Verna at Fairfield, Connecticut, where he died without children in 1940.
