She was the best-selling author of Polish Profile (1940), an account of her life in Poland while married to Prince Paul Sapieha, and in the 1950s she appeared regularly on television as well as presenting the Books In Profile (1956) radio program (1956). She was a book reviewer for the New York Herald Tribune and The New York Times, and moderated The Author Meets The Critic TV program (1952-1955).
