Vesey Boswell (1856-1935)
Vice-President of National Breweries Ltd., of "Ravenwood" Quebec City
He was born and educated at Quebec. After the death of his older brother in 1893, he became sole proprietor of Boswell & Brother Brewery founded by their father. He was Vice-President of the Quebec Bank and of National Breweries Ltd., Montreal. He was married twice: (1) In 1889, he married Florence Isabel Brown (2) In 1906, he married Mrs (Elizabeth) Margaret Browne, daughter of James Bowen Jr., of Quebec and widow of Hugh F. Browne, of Boston, Massachusetts. He had two children by his first wife and a daughter by his second. He lived at "Ravenwood" on the Chemin Saint-Louis.
