Thomas Lynch Jr. (1749-1779)
Signer of the U.S. Declaration of Independence from South Carolina
He was educated in England at Eton, Gonville & Caius College (Cambridge University), and the Middle Temple, London. He returned to South Carolina in 1772. He and his wife were lost at sea and died without children.
