Thomas Eaton Lander (d.1933)
Major T.E. Lander, of Cathcart House, Glasgow & Auchtyfardle House, Lesmahagow
He was Chairman of the British Electric Plant Company Ltd., and the Lander Syndicate, Ltd. He lived between Cathcart House, Cathcart, Glasgow (pictured) and Auchtyfardle House, Lesmahagow. He purchased the latter in 1923 and his widow continued to live there after his death. It was demolished two years after she died in 1957. He married Elsie, daughter of Alexander Allan, Shipowner, of R. & A. Allan, Glasgow.
