Stevens Rogers (1758-1811)
Stevens Rogers, of Waterford, Connecticut
He was the son of James Rogers (1717-1790), of Great Neck, Waterford, and his wife, Mehitable Newbury (1724-1787). He was a farmer at Great Neck (since renamed Waterford), Connecticut. He received the Goshen Farm from his father and also land at Niantic. In 1786, he marred his cousin, Abigail, and they had four children, three of whom married children of Captain Amos Rogers of New London.
