Sir John Temple (1698-1732)
Kt., of the Manors of Biddlesden & Stantonbarry, Buckinghamshire
He was a younger son of Sir Thomas Temple, 1st Bt., of Stowe, Buckinghamshire, where his children were christened. He had extensive business interests in America, as did his son, Sir Thomas Temple, Governor of Nova Scotia.
