Sidney (Turner) Dyer (1857-1933)

Mrs Sidney Smith (Turner) Swan, Dyer, of Baltimore

She was a great-granddaughter of William Patterson, 1st President of the Bank of Maryland and founder of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad. Her great-aunt, Betsey Patterson, married Jerome-Napoleon Bonaparte, youngest brother of the Emperor Napoleon. Sidney was the mother of one daughter by her first marriage (that ended in divorce), Laura Patterson (Swan) Robeson, but had no children by her second marriage.
