Sarah (Russell) Dehon (1792-1857)

Mrs Sarah (Russell) Dehon, of 51 Meeting Street, Charleston, South Carolina

She was married in 1813 and was the mother of two sons and one daughter (listed). She was widowed by 1820 and inherited her father's mansion on Meeting Street, Charleston. She continued to live there with her daughter, her son-in-law (Rev. Paul Trapier) and their 12-children. In the same year that Sarah died (1857) the Trapiers sold the mansion to Robert Francis Withers Allston, Governor of South Carolina.
