Sarah Bigelow (1787-1845)
Mrs Sarah (Bigelow) Reid
She was the daughter of the Rev. Edwin Welles and Mary (Sherrill) Dwight. She helped found the first female anti-slavery society in North America at Reading, Massachusetts. She was the grandmother of the impressionist artist, Robert.
