Rolaz Horace Gallatin (1871-1948)
of New York City & "Chepstow"; Vice President of the New-York Historical Society
He was styled R. Horace Gallatin and lived between 36 East 75th Street, N.Y.C., and "Chepstow" at Newport, R.I. He was a trustee, treasurer and Vice-President of the New-York Historical Society. He donated several pieces from his valuable art collection to the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C.
