Richard Meredith (1674-1752)
of Castleisland & Dick's Grove, Co. Kerry
He was the second son of David and Bridget (Pris) Meredith, of Gowross, Montgomeryshire. He married Anne, daughter and sole heiress of William Browne of Totteridge, Hertfordshire, who in 1734 purchased the Irish estates at Castleisland, Co. Kerry, of his father-in-law, the 2nd Lord Herbert of Chirbury.
