Richard Fenimore Cooper (1775-1813)

Richard Fenimore Cooper, of Albany & Cooperstown, New York

He had a townhouse at Albany and a country house, "Apple Hill" at Cooperstown. He became the land agent to George Clarke (1768-1835) of Hyde Hall who married his widow (who is supposed to haunt Hyde Hall) after he died.
