Rev. Samuel Cooper (1725-1783)

M.A., Fellow of Harvard & Chaplain to the General Court, Boston, Massachusetts

He was one of the founders and the first Vice President (1780-83) of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences. He was - like his father - elected a President of Harvard College (1774), but declined to serve.
