Perry Tiffany (1866-1928)

He was born in Newport and was married twice. His first wife, Marie, was a daughter of the New York sugar refiner Theodore A. Havemeyer, co-founder of the Newport Country Club. She died in Paris. He returned to Paris with his second wife, Olive, where they worked for the French Red Cross during World War I. After the war, they moved to Dutch Guiana where he had mining interests.
