Paul Geddes Pennoyer (1890-1971)
Colonel Paul G. Pennoyer, of "Round Bush" Glen Cove, Long Island, New York
He was educated at a boy's school in Geneva, Switzerland, which ignited a lifelong passion for Europe. He then studied at Lawrenceville, New Jersey and spent a year at Berkeley before transferring to Harvard. His brother married the Dowager Countess of Shrewsbury and purchased St. Donat's Castle which he sold on to another American media mogul, William Randolph Hearst. He himself married the daughter of "America's Greatest Banker," J.P. Morgan.
