Matthew Chandler Fox (b.1966)

Actor & Golden Globe Award Nominee

He is a direct descendant of Joseph Fox, elected Speaker of the Pennsylvania House of Assembly in 1764. He is also a great-great-great grandson of Major-General George Gordon Meade who was in command of the Army of the Potomac at the Battle of Gettysburg, and his grandmother's second husband was a son of R. Sturgis Ingersoll, President of the Philadelphia Art Museum, etc. He is perhaps best known for his starring roles in Lost (as Jack Shephard) and Party of Five (as Charlie Salinger). In 1992, he married Margherita Ronchi and they have two children.
