Mrs Mary (Ward) Flagg

She was a daughter of Richard Ward, Governor of Rhode Island. Her portrait and that of her husband, were loaned by the Vanderbilt family to the Newport Preservation Society and hung at The Breakers, built by their descendant, Alice (Gwynne) Vanderbilt, and Alice's husband Cornelius Vanderbilt II
