Mrs Mary (Digges) Lee; First Lady of Maryland

She, "ably supported the efforts of her husband while Governor to meet Washington's request for troops and supplies and is credited with 'mobilizing the women of Maryland for patriotic service'". She and her husband, the Governor of Maryland, had eight children, seven of whom (listed) survived to adulthood.
