Mrs. "Minnie" Mary Weld (Burch) Demongeot, Ribot

She came to Europe with her father after her parents' sensational divorce trial. She divided her time principally between Paris and the Côte d'Azur and in the circle of Henry James she was described as, "a very pleasing American." After the death of her first husband she married Alexandre Ribot, Prime Minister of France in 1917.
