Margaret (Fraser) Gluck (1824-1897)
Mrs. Margaret (Fraser) Gluck
She was born in Inverness, Scotland, and came to Canada with her parents. Her father died there and in 1848 she and her mother moved to Niagara, New York. She found employ in the household of Peter B. Porter, where she met her husband, and they were married in 1851. Their son, James Fraser Gluck, became one of Buffalo's best known benefactors, and a daughter, Jessie, married the Mayor of Niagara.
