Margaret (Wolfe) Kane (1850-1940)

Mrs Margaret Adelaide (Wolfe) Kane

She was Chairman of the Women's Auxiliary of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, New York; Director of the New York School of Applied Design for Women; and, a member of the national board of the Camp Fire Girls of America. In 1881, she married Grenville Kane by whom she was the mother of five daughters. She and her husband were among the original members of Pierre Lorillard's Tuxedo Park.
