Maj. Francis Griswold Landon (1859-1947)

of "Mansewood" Staatsburg, Dutchess Co., Member of the New York State Assembly

He is perhaps best remembered for his lifelong involvement as a Major with The New York National Guard. He also served several terms in the New York State Assembly and was Chairman of the Dutchess County Republican Party. He built "Mansewood" see images on the site of Inwood.
