Lisette DeWolf Colt (1867-1933)

Mrs "Lisa" DeWolf (Colt) Rotch, Curtis

Her father was a nephew of arms manufacturer Samuel Colt and her uncle succeeded to the DeWolf/Colt family home, Linden Hall, at Bristol, Rhode Island. In 1892, she married the architect Arthur Rotch who died just two years later, without children. In 1897, she married the artist Ralph Wormeley Curtis. After the birth of their first child they moved to the Villa Sylvia at Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat on the French Riviera where they both died. She and Ralph had three children.
