Mrs Julia (Morris) Stebbins

She was orphaned at an early age and one of her guardians was her aunt, Mrs Ann (Morris) Vanderhorst, of Charleston, South Carolina. On coming of age, she inherited half of the Hope Plantation on Bear Island, South Carolina, with 87-slaves, and half of her father's 400-acre military grant in Ohio, as well as various stocks and bonds.
