Joseph Howland Hunt (1870-1924)
Joseph Howland Hunt, Architect, of Hunt & Hunt, New York City
He was born at New York City, the son of one of America's most distinguished architects, Richard Morris Hunt. He was educated at Harvard and Columbia University's School of Architecture before following his brother Richard to the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He returned to New York in 1901 and worked with his father and brother until his father died and the brothers established the well-respected and popular firm of Hunt & Hunt. He died unmarried.
