Joseph Atwell Small (1748-1814)
Rev. Joseph Atwell Small D.D., Minister of St. Paul's, Bristol
He was born at Cirencester and educated at Exeter College, Oxford. He was the younger brother of John Small, of Berkeley House, Toronto. He became a Fellow of the College before holding the Prebendary of Gloucester and becoming Vicar of Congresbury. He was Minister of St. Paul's at Bristol and one of the King's chaplains when he died. He lived between Bristol and the Manor of Archibawlds at Cirencester.
