Jonathan Mason (1725-1798)
Brazier & Merchant, of Boston
He was born in Boston and went into trade as a brazier. He became a prosperous merchant and served as a Selectman (1769-1771), Deacon of the Old South Church (1770-1798), and was an active member of the Sons of Liberty during the Revolution. In 1747, he married Miriam Clarke and they had four children.
