John Wayles Eppes (1773-1823)

of Millbrook, Buckingham County; U.S. Senator & Congressman from Virginia

He was married twice. In 1797, at Monticello, he married his first cousin, Mary, daughter, of President Thomas Jefferson. They had three children but only one son survived to adulthood (listed). After she died, he married Martha Burke Jones in 1809 and they had five children (listed) who survived to adulthood.
