John Sayre (1692-1767)
of Southampton, Long Island, New York
He was a prosperous farmer and the Trustee of Southampton, Long Island. He was Inspector of Insolvent Estates and Overseer of the Poor. He also served as Deacon of the Congregational Church for many years.
