John Russell Pope (1874-1937)

Architect, of Washington D.C.

He is best known for designing several prominent public buildings in Washington D.C., such as the National Archives and Records Administration building (1935), the West Building of the National Gallery of Art (1941), and the Jefferson Memorial (1943).
