John Lowell Gardner II (1837-1898)

"Jack" Gardner II, of Brookline, Massachusetts

He is perhaps best remembered through his wife who founded the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. After the death of his brother, Joseph, he and Isabella adopted and brought up his three orphaned sons.
