John Lawrence Lee (1841-1892)
Dr J. Lawrence Lee, of "Stonehurst" Staatsburg, Dutchess Co., New York
He built "Stonehurst" after his marriage in 1868 to, "one of the five most beautiful debutantes of her time in (New York) society". After John died, Stonehurst was sold at auction to William Dare Morgan and his wife Angelica Livingston Hoyt, when it became known as "Morgan Hall". It burned down in 1965.
