John James (1785-1813)

Captain John James, U.S. Army, of Manlius, New York

He was born at Dublin and emigrated to New York. He became a merchant in partnership with Robert Cummings. He was appointed a Captain of Cavalry in the U.S. Army and a Vestryman of Christ Church, Manlius. He was married and survived by a son and daughter.
