John Esaias Warren (1827-1896)
Diplomat & Author of St. Paul, Minnesota & Chicago
He was attached to the American Legation in Spain, and later to the U.S. Legation in Brazil. He published two books, The Attaché in Spain and Para. In 1860, he was Mayor of St. Paul, Minnesota, and afterwards resided for many years with his family in Chicago.
