John Crawford Fraser (1875-1931)

Author aka "J.I. Stahlmann"

He was a nephew of the novelist F. Marion Crawford. He co-authored at least three books with his mother, Mary Crawford Fraser: Death of the Showman (1901); and, The Satanist (1912); The Honour of the House (1913). In 1971, the well-known British writer and editor Peter Haining referred to The Satanist as one of the stories that set the standards for 1960s occult fiction reflected in the works of August Derleth and Dennis Wheatley.
